So, after people watched the demonstration of the map’s first rendition, they suggested a few things be fixed and so, when I got a break, I made some changes.
Blue/red sides are now easier to identify. The lighting has been improved, there have been alternative exits added to the spawn rooms, and a whole new lower dungeon room was added. There are spiral staircases on both sides and additional decor and fog was added to prevent snipers from targeting people coming out of spawn, as well as for aesthetics.
The lava/spike traps remain unchanged.
In this recording, I hadn’t built cubemaps yet. Also some of the static items like the stairs aren’t receiving light? I don’t know why but it shouldn’t affect game play apart from being an eye-sore.
